We are seeking an experienced Senior Carpenter to lead and execute high-end residential construction projects. In this role, you will work on custom dormers, home extensions, and full home transformations, ensuring that every project meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. As a Senior Carpenter, you will be pivotal in overseeing and training junior carpenters while managing key construction tasks and ensuring the timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise carpentry teams on residential remodeling projects
• Perform complex carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, and finishing work
• Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and Cascella & Sons' quality expectations
• Collaborate with project managers to review blueprints and project plans
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to the client
• Train and mentor junior carpenters and assist with their professional development
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA guidelines and Cascella & Sons' safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services

Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of carpentry experience, with a focus on high-end residential remodeling and renovations
• Proficient in framing, drywall, roofing, siding, and finish carpentry
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings
• Strong communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork
• Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations
• Must have reliable transportation to work and a valid driver's license
• Clean background with no criminal history

Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate at $27.50 to $40 based on experience.
