In this role, you will work on custom dormers, home extensions, and full home transformations, ensuring that every project meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. As a Senior Carpenter, you will be pivotal in overseeing and training junior carpenters while managing key construction tasks and ensuring the timely completion of projects. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and supervise carpentry teams on residential remodeling projects</li><li>Perform complex carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, and finishing work</li><li>Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and Cascella &amp; Sons' quality expectations</li><li>Collaborate with project managers to review blueprints and project plans</li><li>Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to the client</li><li>Train and mentor junior carpenters and assist with their professional development</li><li>Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA guidelines and Cascella &amp; Sons' safety protocols</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project</li><li>Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>5 or more years of carpentry experience, with a focus on high-end residential remodeling and renovations</li><li>Proficient in framing, drywall, roofing, siding, and finish carpentry</li><li>Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings</li><li>Strong communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork</li><li>Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations</li><li>Must have reliable transportation to work and a valid driver's license</li><li>Clean background with no criminal history</li></ul>Salary and Benefits:<ul><li>Full time position</li><li>Competitive hourly rate at $27.50 to $40 based on experience.</li><li>Performance-based bonus potential</li><li>Paid time off &amp; holidays</li><li>Opportunities for professional development and growth</li><li>A respectful and supportive work environment focused on work-life balance</li><li>The opportunity to work on exciting, high-end residential projects that enhance the beauty and value of homes</li></ul>If you are a seasoned carpenter with a passion for craftsmanship and an eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.
